MOSIP is a robust scalable and inclusive foundational identity platform The Modular Open Source Identity Platform (MOSIP) helps Governments and other user organizations implement a digital, foundational identity system with identity verification services in a cost effective way. Nations can use MOSIP freely to build their own identity systems with identity verification. Being modular in its architecture, MOSIP provides flexibility to countries in how they implement and configure their identity verification systems, and helps avoid vendor lock-in. Anchored at the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B), MOSIP harnesses the power of open source and embraces the best practices of scalability, security and privacy. We at Technoforte specialize in developing and implementing digital identity solutions on ID systems like Aadhar, MOSIP etc. The identity verification services provided by us are Authentication and EKYC services. Authentication is used to authenticate an individual’s identity using various types like One Time Password, Demographic, Biometric or a combination of these factors called as multi factor authentication. Once the information is captured from the user it is validated against the repository using a 1:1 match to confirm the individual’s identity. A Virtual ID can also be generated to keep the user anonymous and used for authentication and identity verification services. E-KYC auth service is also provided as a part of identity verification services where in the individual’s authorized set of attributes will be returned. The information returned is governed by a policy. The ekyc data will be digitally signed and sent to the requesting party. Online authentication Offline authentication which can be done using a cryptograph service where a cryptogram will be printed on the identity card. Chip based authentication where in the biometric details are embedded in the chip in the identity card. Demographic data normalization is also done before performing auth/eKYC . Hotlisting feature is also available where in the ID can be blocked on suspected fraud, in order to protect against the misuse of identity Authentication lock/unlock (for a specific period) and duplicate card download is also available. Single sign on feature in which a login provider is provided to enable access to all the services without creating yet another set of login credentials (username/password combination).
