Bilberry Brands India Private Limited, a new venture established in 2025 to introduce global brands to India, today announced its landmark licensing partnership with British cosmetics retailer Lush. This exclusive agreement marks Lush’s highly anticipated return to India after nearly two decades, with Bilberry Brands leading all market operations through an omni channel approach.
Under the strategic licensee agreement, Bilberry Brands will manage Lush’s complete India presence, maintaining the brand’s core values of ethical sourcing, sustainability, and handmade freshness. The launch commenced with the successful activation of Lush’s Direct-to-Consumer platform, Lush.in, with plans to open approximately 10 physical stores across key metro cities including New Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru within the next 18-24 months.
To preserve Lush’s renowned product quality while adapting to local markets, Bilberry Brands is establishing a dedicated 3,000 sq. ft. LUSH Fresh Kitchen in Bengaluru. This facility will produce approximately 30 fresh products using locally sourced Indian ingredients, complementing the imported range of over 350 products from Lush’s UK manufacturing facilities.
